Daily Routine: 1: Students walk into the gym and sit in their gym lines 2: Coaches give announcements and brief explanation of the days activities 3: Students walk to their home squares and do warm-ups to focus their minds and prepare their muscles for the day's activities -The warm-ups include: Jumping Jacks, Toe Touches, Windmills, Squat Thrust, Mountain Climbers, Sit ups, and Push ups. 4: Introduce the activity, skill, or topic that is being learned and get equipment 5: Students will practice and/or play the activity 6: Students return equipment 7: Students return to their gym lines, sit down, and wait to be picked up by their teacher
Weekly Schedule: -Three days a week we work on "Skills and Drills" of the unit we are learning. -One day during the week we go outside for Road Runners. (information on Road Runners can be found under the "Units" tab.) -One day a week (usually Friday) we play a game.
